Today is a happy day! Despite being at the bottom of the world the past weekend, I feel refreshed. The events that happened today just unfold one by one. I really enjoy being Innova. Man, I learned a few new words at H1 Lit. So funky!
Thanatos. It means death instinct. How can you have the instinct to die? LOL. Like as if I can prognosticate what is going to happen next. Actually, it really means the innate and unconscious tendency towards self-destruction. For example, in some stories, the villian kills someone who is good and realizes his mistake after the destruction done. For some reason or another, he kills himself or the people around him. Thats thanatos.
Macabre. It is the fascination with death. It happens in a tragic story. There is excessive dying of the characters. Yuck. I hope I dont have any friends who are like that.
Whee! I feel so learned. Sorry, I'm just blogging about mundane things in my life well but they hold a certain meaning to it. Bear with it. :)
Homework's done. Gotten his smile. Received the word of wisdom. Embellished with his crappy jokes. Trained for my race on the 4th. Knees hurting and painkiller sucks. Who cares when life's so great?!

a series of unfortunate events.
What seemed like so sunny yesterday, in a blink of an eye everything changes.
Is winning really everything? When the news was told to me, immediately my heart sank to the bottom. How am I going to account to the people? But YW assured me, things will be alright. People are just used to equating everything to winning. And I did for that split second. Thoroughly processing the thoughts, It is actually the process that matters. Ten years down the road, no one can remember whether you won the school tournament a not. But then years down the road, those that went through the journey of reaching their goals together with you will never forget. Whether eventually what placing we get, it's ok. This year, our goal is to set a new tradition that will be followed in years to come. I shall not continue to be upset over this shocking news. If there is anyone to be discouraged, I should be the last one and not the first [ironically although I am now]. In days to come, there might be a big commotion about things being announced. By then, I would be strong. You may beat us but you will never break us. MK also reassured that most importantly is to have fun and ehy, stop making fun of my teeth. The minute I see you, your smile, super nice and the next moment, when you talk to me like daffy duck, urgh.
In the midst of my despair and agony, flashes of how different people in subtle ways have pulled me up. My class and their never ending nonsense. Haha. It never fails to make me laugh. MK's smile. It really contains loads of warmth. YW's words. Great to have a christian by my side. Bee Yan and Ama's OL and HL crap. I then realised that many of these daily routines have been ingrained into my life. It'll be part of what I miss in Innova. Thank you.
WHAARRR! Another disaster. I do not know what to wear for IJ's opening ceremony. Formal dress code? 4 years in GM, the ROD has proved to me that I am no good with such stuff. I dont own any skirt other than my school skirt or dress other than my GB uniform. Mr Koh and Mr Tan laughed their heads off upon hearing this. Darn. NOT FUNNY! I can choose not to go but then again. Innova's opening ceremony and I'm invited as a guest! Ehy. Honoring yea! what a dilemna!

Every day I look forward to seeing you
Hoping that at the slighest chance
I could catch a glimpse of your
smile, your wave, your acknowledgement.
I wait in anticipation for the time
To come and allow me to speak
Of spirits that lift my heart
Erasing my sorrows and worries.
I would not mind staying here
Watching the world go by
But my eyes trailing only you
For once so small, it seemed so dim
Now things are better and so it is
Where barriers are lifted and lines kept
Only during then can I smile with delight
For anything that has to do with you
Now, I can only stand and listen...

MY pride and joy.
Our DEAREST House Master
Mr Joshua Tan and Me!
Sagittarius Strike Force!
You can beat us and you will never break us!
Getting all ready for Cross-Country
Our 'stern' looking House Advisor
*Look at his shiny, dangling green necklace!
Mr Koh and Me!
After Cross-Country.
Mr Koh's 'I-wanna-beat-you-up' face
My crunched up face telling him to smile
Mr Tan smiling with glee with the medals
A few shots later...
Note the difference in the faces
-Mr Tan still the same'
Whee! I simply adore school sporting events!! I am so gonna miss our cross-country!
Everything was worth it. Thank you to all who made this event so memorable for me.

stop.ending.period.over. in 2 more days. Once cross-country is done with, I think I'd take a trip to the moon to enjoy myself. Takers anybody? It's been a long time since I buried myself in work.
The only time that would remind me of the long, tedious hours of work i had to complete, of which I ironically enjoyed, would be 2nd Feb. Geylang Methodist Prefects Installation. Followed by 4th to 7th -- sec 3 camp. Hwei Ting, wanna be the emcees again? I've got loads of fresh ideas this time. Better ask Mr Lian quickly. He's opening up to more helpers. Still anyone? 2nd Feb happens to be Innova Junior College Opening Ceremony. Yay, I'm invited to the dinner. Kool! =]
Whoopee. Today, mambo king wore my favourite colour shirt, ORANGE! Looks good!

Amanda's left early this morning. =] She looked great in her green sweater. Well, she loves green that is. I've got some of the presents that her church friends gave to her. Hah. No more space in her luggage bag so she asked me to safekeep it. LOL. Suddenly, I realised the number that I have been so used to no longer exists, at least for a long while that is. I made sure that she will give me her number and address when she reaches there in Perth. Haa. Said I sounded like her mother. Manda, please be happy!
Anyway, today I approached 3 people to be my date for my birthday. v-day. All said yes. HAH. Eh, you pple better keep that day free ok. The only one that is closes to getting attatched is Jasmine and she said yes. Siah Hwei Ting, dont tell me you have school! Daniel Lio, pang sai! You dare not to come, I dare to burn your house. Nerf, how much you paying me for dating you? Randall, take off from work ok! So you guys, whom have no other choice but to accept my invitation, say yes. I'm making you feel wanted. =] LOL.

yay. happy happy! So glad that tomorrow would be the start of my weekend. I finally submitted the names for the cross-country runners. Moving on to do the Sagi welcome package for all.
I have to buy 10 metres of felt clothe. Anyone wants to go with me? =] Wonder how heavy it would be. Discussed with Mr Tan about this. Do hope that everything would go according to plan. And some busybody, Mr Chen came and disturb whilst we were talking. As revenge, after talking to Mr Tan, I asked for Mr Chen. So when he reached the staffroom door where I was, I said "oh, nothing!". HAH! Revenge is sweet. Cross country is coming!! My kneecap is breaking!! My timing is as lousy as ever. Well, there's potential in our female runners. Guys...Do your best! Darsha has left to Taurus and Mr Chen is ever so cocky about that fact. Grr. Life is great with interesting teachers.
Amanda, sorry I tried to make a cinnamon roll for you but i failed. I guess I'll buy one since you like it so much. By the time you return, I'll make the best one for you myself!! Anyone got a job at delifrance?? =)

Wharr! So glad house meeting is over. I guess it went pretty well. Comparatively to last year, I guess the signup for cross country runners is better. Against other houses, I have no idea. But like he always say, HAVE FUN. I really do hope the Sagi people will enjoy themselves!
Anyway, today the badge maker arrived!! Finally! After waiting for about 2 long months for the shipment to arrive in Singapore from the US. It looks exactly just like some toy. Yay! THe first badge made was given to Mr Koh, the next was mine! Thanks Mr J Tan! It states for all things work together for the good -- for them who love Him. FYI, it's taken from a bible verse. These few days are super hectic. I thank God for giving me people like Mr Koh, Mr See Tho, Kenneth Chai, Jeng Huey, Sagi exco and Ama. Whoo. Recently, I got to know Mr See Tho. His english is sure good. He has loads of ideas and synomns for words. Impressed. [DUh? He's a GP teacher?!] Hah. Also went to suggest to Mr Koh that brighter colours look better on him. I guess I'm doing some students a favour. You can sure spot him miles away and surely, you'll have time to run? LOL! Man, I am sure glad cross country is in a few days time. At least I can spare time preparing for it now rather than doing a half-hearted job in March, near my blog test.
TGIF! Thank God its Friday! =} But then where is my personal angel? Gone for toilet break? Sure is long...

It's been a long time...
School work is piling up. More homework everyday. Crazy cross-country that would be so early this year. Preparing for the Sagittarius J1 batch.
On top of it all, it's fun. Classes aren't that fun but doing what I love to do. Oh yeah! It's going to be a fun year for the Sagittarius people and I do pray that everything will have the objected effect and not the adverse. Don't ask me why I am so enthusiastic. I just like my job especially when I have the PE teachers entertaining me almost daily. I guess what I do might never reap profits but who cares? I'm enjoying myself at Innova tremendously! Are you? :)
Innova's orientation! Olympia. The four orders. The order of Titans, The order of Supra Beings, The order of Olympians and The order of Primodials. Yes yes, it has long ended. But it was EXTREMELY fun. I dont really have time to elaborate. Blog soon. I can feel the homework rising. Like Lisa said, I've changed. I stopped keeping up with my work. That makes me on the same boat as you right? =} I shall continue my struggle till February starts and the race for A level's will begin. Is that too late?
Well, its good that I have things to keep my mind off things. Amanda's leaving soon. We're supposed to go to the Night Safari tonight. I cant believe Esther, BaH and me have never been there. How long will it take before I see her again? Eh! Jeremy, good for you. At least you get to see her in Perth.
Just met Jerrold, Jeremy and Eugene at the christian annually fusion event for methodist churches. They all coach at Creative Arts Ministry at this camp when I was sec 1 to about 4. They organize it during the school holidays for meth. churches to come and learn more skills with regards to music. Eugene, the bassist player, is so much fatter now and working in Wesley Meth. Jerrold, the best and coolest drum teacher, is a top-gun pilot for S'pore. Find him, he appeared in the newspaper TWICE! Jeremy, the funky short keyboardist, is studying in Perth. Great time catching up.
On the other hand, both my beloved aunties will be going off to work in India and Hong Kong for 2 years. Sigh... Why are so many people leaving?

BENNETT AMANDA HANNAH! I will miss you terribly. But I know that the Lord is with you. Though I would love to go there with you, I cant. I will try my best to always be there for you. This offer always stands. I really dont know how to still be happy that you're leaving. It's not forever but I just cant help it. You better dont forget me, beansprout princess. Still remember the time when we had PEC captain's ball game. whahaha. You fell from the chair and Esther and I rushed to your side. We were practically kissing you cause we were so worried. I will miss these times. I'll buy many calling cards so I can call you. I'm glad to have technology. I am even more comforted that Jesus will walk with you every step of the journey.
