Innova is definitely not a place for muggers. Randall, thats why you should come here. Don't listen to that Sim Lee. :)
Studying is definitely not my cup of tea. It is my cup of coffee. It keeps me awake in life. Studying allows you to keep your mind away from things you don't want to think about. Ironically, I have not been studying. I've been going to help at Singapore Youth For Christ in their rockclimbing activities as a facilitator. Boy! The kids are like crazy cows. Worse, the adults...I asked them how old I'd look like. The guesses came in at 20++. Do I really look that old? Then why is it when I want to rent M18 movies, they stop and check my ID. Darn!
I realise something too. When you are young, you tend to be more daring. These kids are all from primary schools yet they take up whatever challenge that I pose to them. Mind you, they are 12 years of age and below. Surprisingly, most of them do better than the secondary school programs. The same route and difficulty can be conquered by kids but not teenagers, bearing in mind that teens have developed muscles and a height advantage. Well..Hanging out with these kids and talking to them really makes me laugh. Their cute antics and faces hypnotizes me totally! The debrief was even more interesting. The questions that I asked them to think about and their answers from the kids were more matured than the teens. My observation from doing all the rockclimbing courses. Perhaps my readers (YOU) would like to think about it too...
Who is your belayer in life? Can he/she be trusted ALL the time?
Amazing isn't it, when you are climbing you dont seem to be able to see the available moves that you can take but your belayer can. You have no choice but to listen to your belayer because he can see much clearer than you can. You have to trust in him, hoping that it is the right move.
Can you rely on your belayer's advice fully? Do you trust him enough to know what is the correct move? Are you sure that your belayer will hold you when you fall?
Who will you choose to be your belayer to run this race of your life?
At least for this holidays, my life revolves around 3 things: mugging, rockclimbing and gospel sharing. I thank God for blessing me with talents. At least I don't have to time to think about things I don't wish to revel about. That's good. I'm so entrenched in activities that it doesn't boggle my mind. WHOOTS!
